From Engineering Plants to Building Security
In 2002, Twinkle was deeply immersed in the technical world, designing power plants in Mumbai as an electrical engineer. Her work demanded precision, problem-solving, and structure. Yet, life had a different path in store.
In 2004, she made a bold shift into finance, joining Citi Bank. While the transition was challenging, her analytical mindset proved invaluable. Numbers weren’t just figures; they told stories, shaped futures, and secured financial well-being. This realization fueled her passion, leading her to Dubai in 2008, where she built a thriving career in wealth management and financial security.
Over the next 15+ years, Twinkle worked with leading financial and insurance institutions, forging strong relationships and continuously learning. But along the way, she noticed a critical gap! While women strived for equality and well-being, many overlooked financial independence. Risky investments, lack of proper planning, and financial uncertainty left them vulnerable.
Determined to change this, she took a leap of faith in 2021 and founded Thiqa, which means 'Trust'. Since launching in 2022, Thiqa has helped clients make smarter financial decisions, from reducing home insurance premiums drastically to securing multi-million-dollar life coverages. One defining moment came when a life insurance claim was paid to a young widow; a heart-wrenching yet powerful reminder that financial planning isn’t just about wealth; it’s about protecting families, securing legacies, and providing peace of mind.
